HAPPY AFRICA FREEDOM DAY

Image
Africa was never poor. Africa was interrupted. Before colonial borders and resource exploitation, Africa built kingdoms, trade networks, astronomy, metallurgy, agriculture, philosophy, and civilizations the world still studies today. The next battle is not just political freedom. It is economic freedom. Technological freedom. Mental freedom. Food freedom. Information freedom. Africa Freedom Day cannot remain speeches and ceremonies while we import what we can produce and borrow what we can build. Africa does not lack talent, intelligence, or resources. We lack unity, discipline, vision, and leadership accountability. The sleeping giant must wake up. Happy Africa Freedom Day. #AfricaFreedomDay #AfricaRising #PanAfricanism #AfricanYouth #AfricanInnovation #FutureOfAfrica #Zambia

ZAMBIAN POLITICS

Image
The politics of Zambia have been shaped by its colonial history, its transition to independence, and its subsequent economic and social development. Northern Rhodesia Zambia was originally known as Northern Rhodesia, and was a British protectorate from 1911 to 1964. During this time, the country was ruled by a white minority, and the African majority was denied basic political rights. There were a number of African nationalist movements that emerged in Northern Rhodesia during this period, but they were largely unsuccessful in challenging colonial rule. Independence Zambia gained its independence from Britain in 1964. The country's first president was Kenneth Kaunda, who led the United National Independence Party (UNIP). Kaunda's government was committed to African nationalism and socialism, and it implemented a number of policies aimed at improving the lives of the country's poor majority. However, Kaunda's government was also authoritarian, and it suppressed dissent...

Reflecting on the impact of child indoctrination today.

Image
It's like a mental leash, constraining young minds from forming their own thoughts. When kids are taught without room for questions, they grow up lacking the ability to think critically or make independent choices. Let's remember, while sharing cultural heritage and religious values is enriching, we must be cautious of harmful indoctrination that stifles curiosity and thwarts democracy. As parents and educators, let's empower our kids to explore various viewpoints and ponder the world with open minds. 🌍💭 #Kaungu #CriticalThinking #OpenMinds #ChildhoodEducation #Rehoboth #Truth

A Socialist Manifesto for a modern Equitable Society

The world is at a crossroads, and it's time to choose our path forward. Socialism, capitalism, democracy, freedom - these are the pillars upon which we must build a better future for all. Socialism offers the promise of equality and fairness, where everyone has access to basic needs such as healthcare, education, and housing. It rewards hard work and entrepreneurship with financial success and allows for economic growth and development. Democracy is the cornerstone of modern societies. It ensures that every citizen has an equal voice in shaping their communities and nations. It guarantees civil liberties such as free speech, assembly, and press.
